Conservation programmes funding 2026

Dear colleagues,

EUAC attaches great importance to the conservation activities of its members, and as has been the case in previous years, EUAC has a budget to assist members in funding their in-situ and ex-situ conservation initiatives with support from the EUAC supporting members. This budget can be allocated either to a single project or divided amongst a series of applicants and will be apportioned at the discretion of the committee on the basis of merit.

For 2026 we are very pleased to open up applications for the EUAC conservation fund. There are two separate application forms for in -situ and ex - situ projects. Please download the appropriate form and fill it in please. The guidance document can be found at the back of the application form. Please upload the applicants here. If it doesn't work then please send in the applications to Lauren Florisson (lauren.florisson@eaza.net) and info@euac.org please label your applications as name of applicant, submission in - /ex -  situ conservation fund.

Important changes for 2026: The maximum amount that can be requested per project has changed. The total conservation fund for both in situ and ex situ activities is €35,000. Each project may request up to 25% of this total, meaning the maximum amount per project is €8,750.
