EUAC conference 2024
We are pleased to announce that the EUAC conference will be held from Wednesday the 18th of September until the 20th of September 2024 in Diergaarde Blijdorp, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The icebreaker will take place on Tuesday the 17th of September. The full programme will be announced later
There is an Institutional Species Plan workshop taking place on the 16th and 17th of September. This is a seperate workshop then the conference. You will need to register seperatly for that workshop. If you are attending the workshop and the conference both please register at the same time.
Prices and registration
The link to register is here. The early fish will end the 31st of July. The registration costs covers: icebreaker, lunches for 2,5 days, entrance fee to the zoo and gala dinner on Thursday.

Accomodation
The venue where the conference will take place is the aquarium in Diergaarde Blijdorp. The adress is : Blijdorplaan 8, 3041 JG Rotterdam.
There are plenty of hotel options in Rotterdam. There are no seperate price agreements with hotels in Rotterdam as part of the conference. We strongly reccomend to book your accomodation as soon as possible.
The closest hotel is Van Der Valk Hotel Rotterdam - Blijdorp which is next to the zoo.
You can use sites like booking to get an overview of hotels and prices. There are also AirBnB options or other private house rentals.
Travel
To Rotterdam
Rotterdam is very close to two airports: Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport. These airports can be easily reached by public transportation such as a bus or train.
Additionally Rotterdam is well connection by (international) train and the closest train station is Rotterdam Centraal/Rotterdam Central.

Within Rotterdam
The zoo can be easily reached by public transport (metro and bus) or by renting a bike. The walking distance from the city is a little bit further.
